Re: Gianluigi Buffon?

Re: Gianluigi Buffon?
How much longer has he got? One season? Two? He will be on masdsive wages while we watch him decline until he finally decides to hang up his gloves.

Not for me.

Re: Gianluigi Buffon?
What if he’s still a good goalkeeper and better than we currently have?

Re: Gianluigi Buffon?
Legend or not, I don’t want us to be a retirement home.

I see we’re already being linked with Yaya Toure too. Yea, he was great a few years ago. Now he is an expensive lazy fuck who we don’t need.

Buffon? Thanks but no thanks.

Re: Gianluigi Buffon?
Serie A title and champions league semi final with Juve last season.

One of the greatest goalkeepers to ever play the game.

Very unlikely but definitely need to give it s go.

His agent reminded the media recently that he likes West Ham, is like to think he’s courting us!

'I don't know if it will be a total farewell to football. He wants two weeks to talk to his family and come to a decision,' Martina told The Sun.

'In England, he always really admired West Ham supporters, and even wrote about it in his book.'

You could cut his hands off and he'd still start ahead of Adrian.

Re: Gianluigi Buffon?
I’d like this to happen, but would he start or bench warm if Adrian stays?

Let’s be honest, it would be a vanity signing, and right up Sullivan’s strasse.

Re: Gianluigi Buffon?
Would genuinely love it if he came, still a top keeper

Goes against the grain I know but fuck me, got to be worth a spin for a season

I think his agent only mentioned us as smoke and mirrors

Re: Gianluigi Buffon?
Hearing his agents comments today makes me think this actually has legs. Would be a massive signing and he's still one of the best keepers in the world
